Q:

??? Aboot buying a used edgun.

I’ve seen a couple used edguns on the classifieds lately. Since I’m moving and building at the moment I really can’t justify buying a brand new one.
What should I look for when buying a edgun used. How does one tell if the owner is a fux up. Where does one look for signs of fuxing?

Lots of thanks Leadpecker.

Thanks for the replies!!

The only shot you have is checking the sellers BOI input, if you bought off the Yellow. Without feedback, you have no guarantee you will receive the gun as described, or even receive the gun after it’s paid for. That’s happened more than once! It’s a lot of money and caution is advised.

Hoot:

I don’t like any externally mod’s like stock carving, painting or drilled shrouds. Occasionally I have heard of over torqued scope rail screws that can strip threads. Just any damaged threads in general. Internally it is mostly reg. adjusting and Hst tweaking so if it shoots good it usually is. Not Fux’ed with is always best.
