Q:

Condor SS shroud issue…..

I have a TT 9″ shroud which I fixed onto a new 177 Condor SS and the first shot I fired there was a hissing noise and the TT shroud moved out of its place on the frame of the SS.
When I took off the shroud noticed that the shroud was pushed by quite some force as the grub screw used to secure the shroud onto the frame had created a groove on the shroud end where the grub screw fits.
Is this due to pellet clipping or what – I did take out one baffle from the SS frame and then mounted the TT 9″ shroud .

Is the set screw which prevents the baffles from going too far into the frame secured? Is there free space for the baffles to move back and forth between the set screw, spacer and shroud? Does sound like a clipping issue, check your baffles and shroud for an impact site.
