Hello new Edgun owner
Hello,
What a great forum I have found out lots already.
I tried out my new to me, Edgun Matador today its sub 12 foot pounds .22.
It was very easy to hit 1 inch targets out to 55 yards and I was hitting golf balls
out to nearly 70 yards when the wind died down.
The best thing is I got 250 shots from 200 bar to just under 100 bar.
Really impressed with the Edgun.
I am going to try the single trigger screw mod later as its the only thing I don’t like.

What pellet you shoot to get 12 ft/lbs? how do you reduce the chamber by half and reduce the TP?
Its a standard length. Its had some work done to it to get it shooting nicely at
12 foot pounds. Regulator was turned down to 90 Bar, Exhaust chamber reduced by half and transfer port reduced down to 3mm.
The person I bought the gun off said he was getting an FPS spread of 5, I have no way of checking this at the moment.
So what I did during my 250 shots was to keep going back to a target 40 yards away about every 20 shots and carrying out a 3 shot group and it was grouping pellet on pellet when the wind allowed.

Cogratulation on buying a great bit of kit. I own the fac R3m version in 22 fac and i love it. Shoots really well and even better now after getting all the tips of this site to improve it more so.

250 shots is really a great shot count and quite enjoyable,,for spending a weekend full time,,,it is one 250tin pellets,,, and one tin of 500 pellets for 2 refills,,, i have no doubt about the efficiency of Edgun regulators…
i can get more than 100 shots with + 900 FPS ,,, but my Edgun is Long version… what is yours?
tell us about the shot to shot consistency ??
did you set your edgun to sub 12fpe? or this Eduard has set your edgun?
