Q:

Well, gotta pull it apart! No hunt today.

I was planning an early morning squirrel hunt today BUT, when I checked my gear last night my gun only had 1300psi in the tank. I went hunting last Wed and when I returned, I wiped down the gun and filled it to 2800psi ( my usual routine).
I refilled it last night to 2800 and this morning it is down to 2000.
Looks like my morning chore will be to remove the bottle( spin loc) and do an “under water” leak check!
Oh well! Maybe an afternoon hunt! :4:

What’s the ground down 7/16 socket trick?

Got it fixed! Thanks Walk! I had to make the tool to remove the valve ( I did the ground down 7/16 socket trick). Easy repair! Old seal was hard as a rock and fell apart when I removed it. Holding steady at 2700psi.

There is an oring the needs to be replaced under the valve

It’s leaking at the threads where the valve screws into the bottle. I’ll make a tool this afternoon to remove the valve.
