Dialing in poowerwheel
Hey All.
Looking to see what others did or what might work best for me as far as pw setting on my 22 condor ss with tonys 1 piece tophat with large insert.Its grouping relly good around 935fps with pw at 2,1 holers but it not too bad at 6 with 10 shots just under 1 inch at 50yds at around 970,didnt try any higher yet and just working on jsb 18 grs right now.Should I be looking for most accurate or most power with acceptable accuracy,mainly gonna hunt small game with it.Lots to try with these guns Huh?

Hey Guys,Shot today witout any restrictor and they went 1140 with a loud crack but no accuracy

Ok Guys,at the 100yard line im getting bout 1 and 1/2 in to 2 in groups with the big insert at 950 fps with 20 good shots.and with the small restrictor at 840 fps got same size groups mabe a touch smaller but was 10 inches lower but got 50 shots from 2900 psi down to 2200 but big difference in trajectory,.Gonna have to try it without a restrictor tomorow.I don’t mind fewer shots but don’t want to give up accuracy or trajectory.Just think after I get all this figured out then ill have to try different peletts.

Yea, and it shortens the dwell time the valve is actually open by shortening the travel of the valve. It stops over travel of the valve stem.
The O ring appears to reduce secondary valve opening due to hammer bounce.

Yep. The loudest thing heard when I shoot mine is the pellet hitting the target. I bought a .25 barrel for it but haven’t installed it yet. I may tinker with that this weekend. As hard as this .22 hits, I’m pretty excited to see what the .25 will do with a bit more lead headed downrange.
The hammer slap mod quiets the sound of the hammer hitting the breech when the gun is fired.

With JSB 18’s, mine is shooting 940fps with smallest restrictor in TTTH. I have o-ring behind it. PW set at 4/0. Also have the TT hammer with slap feature. Sub 1/2″ groups @ 50 yards. I fill to 2800 and shoot down to 2000… get at least 40 or more shots. Was only getting about 25 until I put the o-ring on.
I’m kinda new at this PCP stuff, so I’m still learning… but already know I’m seriously addicted… 😉

Once you go past about 1,122 fps, you’ll get the sonic crack and most pellets have crappy performance.
