I should say thanks to Tony’s wife, she’s the one who shipped it and took my money! 😆 I love my Cricket but have always wanted an Edgun Matador. It was so hard get opinions on which one was better and now that I have them both in my hand I see why. They are just two different animals all together. My scope is still on the “Other truck” so I yanked one off one of my ar15’s just to test her out. I will say she’s a little louder than I expected but I’m good with that. I hope she runs good……. Well, here she is and pictures don’t do her justice..

I was waiting for you to chime in!! Sexy or not she’s going in the woods with me for sure. I may dress her up….I may take her naked! Either way, the next video I upload to my channel will be with her so stay tuned. Gray squirrel season opens very soon and I’m super excited. However, I’m crossing my fingers on Polymags in this barrel! I love they way they fit in the magazine. Having 3 open slots while the in the gun will really work for me as well. I’ll be able to swap pellets on demand depending on the situation by rotating the mag on the fly. “Cricket has a hard time with Polymags” as most of you know.

i have used JSB ploymag ,,,but they don’t perform good out of my Edgun ,,, the best and the final pellet for my Edgun is only JSB 18.13gr,,, ,,, even the 15.89gr cannot hit the 18.13gr … this is maybe for my Edgun only ,,not for yours…

Good for you Exziver! The R3M .25 seems to excel shooting at 915-920 fps.
Sure you want to take it into the woods 😛 A soft case, a clear spot to post and some shooting lanes pose little threat. These pups are a lot easier to lug through the bush than a FX Royale 25. Just make sure it’s decocked, pointed in a safe direction, etc. The lack of a trigger safety makes proper handling issues more urgent, especially in the brush.
The exposed fill port is an outlier in AG design. Soft foam makes a good, lightweight plug, in a pinch.

Thanks Guys I’m pretty excited to start shooting it. I bought this to be used for hunting and making videos however, I don’t even want to take it in the woods in fear of scratching it. 😯 The temporary scope I put on is 100 yard parallax and talk about pain in the ass for close range groups! It was the only one I wanted to disrupt for the time being so i’ll live with it for a few days. As for the fill probe dust protector…I Know what’s up with that? I would have thought that would be a priority safety feature.
Congrats. You will love it. Once you take it appart to make adjustments you will really appreciate the elegance and simplicity of Ed’s design. The more you use it the more you will appreciate it. The only down side is that there is no going back. Welcome to the club.
