Q:

My Edgun Matador warranty will expire in one month

In Dec. last year, I got the Matador R3M std.22. It’s almost one year now. I’ve shot thousands pellets through it. During this year, the gun just become better and better. I have cleaned the barrel about 5 times, changed 2 barrel orings(a little bit air leaking after the oring damaged by pellets) and 1 regulator piston oring(first shot slow and unstable velocity). I really enjoy its accuracy, nice design, simplicity, durability, repeatability and efficient regulator (80 shots per fill).
The only thing I don’t feel good is the lock screw where is hard to access to replace oring.
How about yours?

That’s amazing, Winged Wonder!!!

This has to be the only forum in the world where you can get an answer to any question regarding bullpups…AND, get harassed by senile individuals who taunt you with ridiculous answers to innocent questions!

Indeed, this forum has something for everyone. The good, the bad, and the evil…..

But then, the world is a more interesting place when you associate with people who like to shit in other people’s soup!!!

By the way, Dick Corbin is my asshole brother-in-law. During the last 50 years, I have endeavored to make his life a living hell…

He’s 73 now, and I advised him that when he is on his deathbed, while he helplessly watched, I would inject my piss into his IV bag…then, after a few minutes of enjoying the look on his face, I would “pull the plug” on him. He promised to do the same to me, if given the chance! Who said the “end years” couldn’t be fun?

Fond regards,

Wing, you have a recommended size for that drill and tap?

L

The grub screw / tap is a 3mm x 0.5mm and the drill bit is a 2.5mm

Wing, you have a recommended size for that drill and tap?

L

Thanks, Wingman. That’s exactly what I meant. I need a drill press.

Dear Hoot, I don’t think you are old. your coming Lelya will make you even younger.

Although Hoot knows the answer to this one and chooses to string you along ( :hoot: hes evil like that 😈 ) it is a very simple fix.. remove the brass collar and grub screw and drill / tap a new hole in the top of the forward breech so you dont need any “forward breech” disassembly to change the O rings.
I mentioned this mod to Ed but he said there wasnt a way of holding the part this way when machining.. I told him to just drill right through the part and thread both top and bottom but leave the lower hole redundant as it is not in view anyway. his reply was “Ok Ill do it like this”… Im not sure if he has made this mod on the new guns yet or not?

Charlie….

I don’t currently have an air rifle, much less an Edgun!

I’m curious, why did you think I, of all people, could help you????

Or did you post this to deliberately embarrass me? That’s sick, Charlie…just plain sick!

Does your mother know you do this sort of thing to elderly people?
