22 caliber pellet on line price difference at Wal Mart

While checking out prices for Crosman 22 pellets I came across the on line Wal Mart site and saw that the Crosman Premier Hollow point was almost $7 per 500 count tin. Today while shopping with the wife at the local Wal Mart, I saw the same item for about $10 per 500 count tin. I asked the clerk in the sporting area about this and showed him the ad on my smart phone. He seems a bit confused but said that the item numbers were the same so he could match the lower price in store for me. I figured that if I ordered it on line they have free in store pick up anyway so what was the difference? He agreed with me.

So I walked off with 3 tins for about $7 each and saved $3 a tin just for checking the on line ads.

I wanted to give everyone a heads up on this.
