Q:

New Condor SS build – thoughts?

I’m working on a new Condor SS build, so far this is where I am headed:

Platform – Condor SS .22 cal (new AF trigger config w/ spin-loc tank)

First add-on’s:
– TT 9″ condor ss shroud
– TT quick change top hat
– TT condor hammer w/ slap mod

I know there is a ton of posts to research here and I am new/ searching through them and reading/ learning…

Any thoughts/ links to posts I might want to pay close attention to/ advice on this?

Thanks.

update on this post-

yeah i went to the talon ss instead… picked up a used one for decent price – moving in the talondor direction with hi-flo tank and TT adjustable top-hat and TT condor hammer w/ slap-mod – this should give me that scalability i am looking for… and a 9″ TT shroud tops it all off for the quiet factor.

to shroud the condor or the condor SS, it’s going to be a long rifle… can’t get around that. Unless of course, you reduce the power… then what’s the point of the condor?

I have a condor, im interested in this ss thing. with shroud my condor is HUGE

Hi,

mods should come after you get to know the rifle.
Also based on your use/application of it.
Shoot it a lot and modify those things that are between you and your goal.

What’s the point of changing something if the rifle is already outshooting your skills.

Have fun first. Save your money for the mods that will matter when you need them

Cheers
Chris

No worries!! It buys you time to get the parts, they’re really pricey! Also, if you got them one at a time, you’ll see exactly how each one affects your rifle, and you can then decide how best to tune it!! :8:

thanks for the advice… will keep it fun and frosty.

No, not really- just poke around the forum!! Shoot a lot of pellets!! Have fun with it! Another part to consider is one of WOK’s trigger guards- it really stiffens up the frame! I’ve got the same parts for my condor SS:

Slap-Mod hammer
quick change top hat
Tony’s Tank Adapter
-plus-
WOKGard 15
Tank cover/stock

The biggest part of all this is like I said above: HAVE FUN!!! Maybe hold off on the upgrade parts and get used to shooting the rifle stock for a while? :2cents: I actually kind of regret only shooting it three times stock before I disassembled my rifle for a caliber change, which turned into just a barrel change (to a smooth twist)! 🙄
