Q:

Pulsar n870 on Cricket

Hi all

Have trouble getting a zero with the above rig. I cannot get enough elevation . Anyone tried shimming this setup?
The centre of the bore (.22) to centre of the digisight is 3 inches. Needing 1 Inch appx holdover for even a 20 yard shot!
The digisight 870 uses same mounting bracket as 750 etc.
And ideas anyone?

I also had issues zeroing pulsar 750 on edgun. Had to put some shims in between scope and rail!

Agreed. If you come up with a better way please let me know.

Thanks Exziver

I’ll try that and shim between case and mount at rear. Bit of a bodge having to do this on a class NV rig. I would guess that nearly everyone with a 750,770 etc has to do the same. There must be a better way of attaching the case to weaver rail without that heavy awful supplied fitting! Shame because the rest of it is v.good.

I have the pulsar N750 and the mount is integrated with the scope. I had to shim between the mount and the scope case to achieve zero. It works well for me.

I agree that’s the way I would go, Ginuwine,, Adjustable rings,,,,
I tried shimming with my springer’s it did not turn out good.
But double check your ring mounts and make sure they are set solid,,, I had a back mount that was loose , drove me to drinking before I found the cause of the (barrel droop)

Adjustable ring: Sportsmatch or FX rings. My 2 cents.
