.177 condor valve spring in .22 talon
In January I purchased A one piece top hat from Talon Tunes, Since then I have only been able to shoot with the first insert in, if I shot with it out, the gun would dump all the air. So I called Air Force and ordered two valve springs for the .177 Condor. I just got around to putting one in, it is a lot thicker spring than the original spring that came with the High flow tank ,so in order to make it work I had to cut a about 5/16 of an inch off the spring. I fired it with out the insert and it did not dump. So I decided it was time to Chronograph it. I filled it to 3000 psi and with out the insert using EUNJIN 28.5 grain pellets at power setting 8, I fired 10 shots through the Chrony. And here are the results 1-1067 fps 2-1050 fps 3-1048 fps 4-1047 fps 5-1028 fps 6-1016 fps 7-1009 fps 8-1001 fps 9-996 fps 10-995 fps. Not bad so I refilled the tank to 3000 psi, only now I put the first insert in. Here is the first 10 shot string 1-848.4 fps 2-855.3 fps 3-871.6 fps 4-876.4 fps 5-876.2 fps 6-880.3 fps 7-885.4 fps 8-890.7 fps 9-878.8 fps 10-892.3 fps. String 2 off same fill 1-883.8 fps 2-886.8 fps 3-883.8 fps 4-885.0 fps 5-892.4 fps 6-890.0 fps 7-882.2 fps 8-894.0 fps 9-895.5 fps 10-890.4 fps. String 3 off same fill 1-885.9 fps 2-890.9 fps 3-863.7 fps 4-875.9 fps 5-880.6 fps 6-884.9 fps 7-872.6 fps 8-877.4 fps 9-878.2 fps 10-878.0 fps. Wow 30 pretty consistent shots, I have thought about maybe taking some more off the spring, but maybe I should wait and let the spring work in, try some different setting and some JSB pellets. If anyone has some suggestions I am all ears. I have not yet tried target, I will tomorrow if I can. I cannot help but think that with these numbers staying so close that it will help the grouping. Also the pressure when I finished these 30 shots was around 2600 psi. And I used the 28.5 grain EUNJIN pellets for all these shots with power setting 8.

You have a nice curve and a very low deviation, I would leave it be, and get a .25 barrel, with JSB Kings, or Kodiacs, you would have a bad ass gun, thats why I like TAG for the many variations of with these guns.
