Tophat o-ring mod

Anyone have an extra 1/4 ID x 3/8 OD x 1/16″ T o-ring laying around? If you do PM me please. I am looking to pick up a couple to try this mod out.. been to all my local hardware stores and I can’t find one.

McMaster- Carr has Buna-N orings in three hardnesses. A50, A70, and A90. What do you think? I am also going to order a polyurethane sheet durometer sample pack to try a diy hammer slap pad.
