update on my Bird’s repair
As I posted earlier, I had to send my Hummingbird back to Top Gun for repair of that blowby issue mine had at the magazine area (hitting my face with a painful blast of high pressure air). Seems my regulator was at fault somehow. Peter had informed me my Bird was dead, sending his condolences. (he’s a funny guy! :smilen: ). A subsequent follow-up email a few days later informed I will have my Bird back next week. So he’s been “on it”. Since he’ll be testing it before sending it out, if he finds any further issues, I expect that a slight delay in delivery is possible. Most importantly, the service was there when I needed it. He and Bori do very well for a small outfit. I’d like for communication replies to be quicker, as I’m sure most would but the end result is what matters most to me. Have to keep busy so I don’t notice the passage of days until I can scope it up again. Might as well relax…

I have no idea what the pull is. Never checked a trigger weight before because most PCPs I’ve owned had adjustable 2nd stages, and I could find a suitable feel. I wonder if Kalibrgun will make the second stage adjustable as part of the improvements (if any) to the model. I don’t consider myself qualified to polish triggers, and starting on the most comlicated PCP I’ve ever bought wouldn’t be the brightest idea I could come up with.
