Manufacturers who do not pay attention to their markets and customers will not stay at the top. Those who do, will. If you put out a good product at a good price/value that is readily available, you won’t have to put up with all this crap and politics…
In my own business, I make it a point to be the easiest vendor my customers have to deal with… Has worked for me quite well for close to 40 years… I don’t think most of these fer-nerz got that figger’d out yet over here on this side of the pond…
I think Ed has made an effort to improve service here in merica. I decided to give him a chance. AoA on the other hand has not and I have never and will never give them any support.
Oh. So you think customer care, service and good service is something found in US only ?
You know, in reality, the old supply and demand deal will take care of all this… I THOUGHT I wanted an FX Bobcat, but then read about all the problems with their regulated guns that AoA had made the mods to to add the regulator to rather than get a factory built gun from FX… Then I tried to work directly with FX to no avail, even through some friends I have in Europe… No dice… Then I tried a Cricket… It is dead nutz accurate, absolutely dependable, and readily available parts and service in lots of places… I also wanted an EdGun and you guys that read the threads on the lousy parts/service availability and lack of availability of advertised items on their web site…. well, I for one am a Cricket fan! I got a high quality dependable gun that I can get parts/accessories for in a number of places… I now have absolutely no need for either…

AoA pissed me off about two years ago and I have not even thought about doing business there since.
lets get this thread back on track….
Did anyone notice the Lack of AOA banners on the Yellow?

I have heard some really good stuff about the brand especially in 22 cal
I built a .22 on a Volquartzen receiver with the Volquartzen trigger group. The receiver is second to none. The trigger group is nice, but overpriced. You can get 99% of the trigger improvement by installing the VQ hammer (~$50, instead of $250) in a standard Ruger trigger group. On the other hand, when I finished the rifle I was able to assemble a complete Ruger 10/22 from the leftover parts…

I don’t know. 2500 fps 17 HMR or 3000 fps WSM. Can you really see any difference? I have a CZ 17 HMR varmint, shots almost one hole at 50 yards. Has a 6 oz trigger topped with a 24X scope. I think it can do everything that the 17 WSM does and you can find ammo everywhere at $9.50 to $12.00.
Sort of reminds me of the 5mm back in the 70s early 80s.

Coda. Have you heard of a Volquartson. 17 wsm semi auto. They where supposed to come out with their WSM in September but something didn’t go according to plan. $1600.00 to $1800.00 like buying a edgun. I put a order in with a dealer but so far I’ve heard nothing about them yet. They make a 17 hmr and a 22 cal .really accurate guns .made in the US.
Nifty looking round for sure, I just wish Ruger would make one in a model 77 or even the American. Hopefully just a matter of time unless interest is lost in the round.
jk
Yep .27 cal nail gun case necked down to .172 Shoots flatter than the .22 hornet and ammo cost about the same as the .17 hmr
17 WSM 20 grain 3000 fps like a high powered .177 pellet 😯
Ballistic tip bullet
It’s a savage rimfire that’s been out a little over a year.
Olin (Winchester) designed the cartridge and had savage design and build the rifle.
It has been a polarizing subject among pb’s. Sorta reminded me of the rouge.

You know Lead I’m with you on that….
I used to be on the edgun hate wagon without ever even seeing one. primarily over the way he conducted his after sales CS…. but over the last year ED has stepped up his game in the CS department. When i get the extra scratch ill buy an edgun.
Now AOA on the other hand I learned early on and wont never give them my business.
