Oh yeah sorry I’m a little bullpup crazy right now 😳

Keyser I think Jim was referring to the actual .25 long rifle: http://www.wildwestairguns.com/Cricket-25-Caliber-Rifle_p_19.html

If so I heard they did a good job with quieting down the .22 rifle so maybe as Burgaw said, it could be quiet in .25 as well. I never shot a .22 or .25 Cricket rifle. The longer barrel definitely help compared to the .25 bullpup.

Chuck, my .25 rifle is quieter tham my .177 cal Air Arms S500 and my .22 AA TX200 , but not as quiet as my mouse fart .177 M-rod
Here’s video I did on the magazine for you to listen too. The sound of the pellet smacking the target is the loudest part of this rifle. That pellet hits with a thump!

It is quieter than a stock Edgun .25 but not by much. The .25 bullpup is a difficult gun to tame but not impossible. The factory shroud does a pretty good job making the gun quiet but it’s still no .177 or .20. Click on Donnyfl profile and read his postings regarding the subject. He has done an excellent job with the cricket shroud. I was a friend’s house today and Donny’s shroud came. It’s well made and quiet. If you want to be super stealthy I recommend a .177. Less air means less noise. I don’t shoot .25s in the backyard, they are too powerful for suburbia IMHO.
