Q:

Different things to shoot at.

Lets here what some of you guys shoot,
Marbles. pecans, Army men bought at the dollar store, 25 in a pack, Old pill bottles filled with water, I also shoot my inhalers when they are empty some pop pretty good. I also got the regular spinners but those are my go to after I shot everything else.
On the marbles, pecans and paintballs you can get an old 2×4 and a large punch and make indentions for them to set in….
Anyone else have any good target ideals ???????
Hobby lobby has the marbles that explode, (there for looks) you get about 50 of them all colors for a dollar… Shoot good in a slingshot to, :smilen:
Lets here it.

Awny
Back in the old days you could strike matches with a pellet or a BB, But with the new safety matches they will only strike matches on there cover…
Even the big kitchen matches , are the safety ones, Keeps the kids from burning the house down I guess,,,,

Shotgun shells with primer! That’s an expensive set of targets Phil!

Nah shotgun primers are cheap and I ended up with a lot of them when I picked up a bulk lot of used reloading gear from an old boy who had given it up.. I just keep repriming the cases intil the brass primer pockets get too damaged to re-prime..

Nope you can reuse the same hole unless you put black powder in it first then primer. I like to drill 3″ into wood then fill with black powder then add primer.

I drill out a 2″X4″ and insert shotgun primers and put out at 50 yards. After awhile it gets to be too easy so I start shooting from the hip.

Would the same holes survive the blast and be reused or you have to drill new ones every time?

Hmmm. Would it be possible to light a match with a pellet? That would be really cool!

I bought a thousand cci mag rifle primers during the great shortage that had moisture in the box. I set those out on a particle board with some old imr 7828 that had began to rust and turned my lemons into lemonade [WINKING FACE]
