Couple more adjustments and measurements. Tophat gap is .90 and i am using the jsb 25.4 gr 22 cal.

With the middle restrictor i got up to 785 fps for 34 fpe.

No restrictor .020 washer behind the top hat and got me 835 fps avg for 39 fpe.

Now its set up where im happy. Just gotta get the tt tank cover on order and it will be done for at least a month. Lol

Final set up and numbers.

Pw is set at 0 slide is on 1, ttqc top hat with smallest insert, 95 gr hammer with slap mod, jds reg and adapter set at 2300 psi, fill to 3 k psi.

I just ran 85 shots off to get a 40 fps spread. 86 shots got 42 fps spread. This thing is very consistant. More than 40 shots in a 10 fps window to start.

Hn 18.21 gr crow mags were 824.5 hi to 794.1 lo. Most were right around 817 but the 1 dropped lo, it was in the middle of the string also.

14.66 hn ftt 879.1 hi 866.9 lo

Over all i am impressed and pretty happy. Will check the accuracy tomorrow and might leave it set up this way. 32 fpe is not bad for 40+ shots. If anyone has questions or wants me to adjust something and run it let me know. The boss works tomorrow so i have all day to play.

Ok so here is the final results. The reg and adapter adds alot of length but its not bad. The fill port is a real pain in the patooty to hook up and disconnect! Not sure whybits so much of a pain but it is.

Now to the performance. Holy s balls bat man it is consistant! Filling up to 3 k you could probably shoot for a week. Here are the numbers.

Jsb 25.4 30 shots 736.6 hi 726.2 lo. That is awesome! 30.3 fpe

Ej 28.5 gr 711.7 low 719.3 10 shot avg 32.46 fpe

Ej 32.4 gr 686.9 lo 694.4 hi 34.2 fpe

Hn barracuda sport 21.39 781.5 lo 785.6 hi 29.2 fpe.

So final thoughts. The reg is stupid accurate! If you want a lower powered condor or airforce gun that is insanely consistant and should be just as accurate the jds reg is a good way to go. Tomorrow i will fill and see how many shots i can get out of the 25.4 gr jsb before it drops off. Man this thing gets not bad power and a ton of shots. If you want better power then you will have to find a larger adapter. But if you want the power levels listed above man this reg setup is awesome!

likes the the 28gr!

Its here!    measurements are as follows.
Adapter length 2.85 inches, adapter and reg 3.875.
Inside diameter where threads are .76. I could no measure inside past the threads but suspect .8.
Inside depth total 1.56
Thread depth .56
Outside diameter 1.335
Wall thickness .30
And volume inside below threads which is the chamber shoild be .502 inches. (edited, first time i did the math i put the diameter measurement in the radius spot which doubled my volume.)

Also Volume of the barrel is .895 cu inches. Wonder how this will work out. I am starting to think I need to be closer to the volume of .895 but not above that in the adapter. Let me know what you Gurus think.

Fit and finish is nice and will be awesome to have a gage and fill port. It has 2 burst disks. 1 at 5k on the high side and 3 k on the outbound side. She is set to 2300 psi. Will get a chance to install tomorrow and may get the first round of numbers. Will post pics in a minute.

Got the shipping notification today! 2 day priority so should be here on the 18th. I have the 19th off and the wife working so will have all day to tinker. I will post up all the dimensions of the adapter, inside, outside diameters length adn wall thickness so all the math gurus can figure ou tthe volume and stuff. Need to get me a torch head and brass punch so I know I have everything ready and staged for the tear down.

This will be the first regulated gun build so will learn alot.
