I can wholeheartedly recommend the TT tophat – it’s been a definite improvement – Tony found the “magic” spot that gives me as much flow as I could want, while wasting less air than the way my factor TH was adjusted and with the larger insert in place, an excellent balance between power and efficiency. It’s hard to say anything about the hammer as I never tried it without the tophat.

The stock from http://www.maddogriflestocks.com/ is awesome. Not only does it give the rifle a cool look, it greatly improves the feel of the thing. I can’t possibly say enough about how great Doug at Mad Dog was to work with. That gentleman is a class act whose service is rivaled by precious few, and beaten by none. I can count on one hand the number of businesses I’d consider on par with him. Gotta say thanks to Kimber(?) here for drawing my attention to these stocks in his post.

About the only thing I think could possibly be improved about this rifle now would be a scope with more elevation adjustment. It’s presently wearing a UTG/Leapers SWAT somethin-or-other, which I’m pretty happy with aside from the adjustment range.
