Cricket leak
I am trying to help the guy that purchased my cricket from me. It seems to have developed a leak around the gauge area when filling and I thought that it might have been coming from the fill probe but it is not. Here is the email that he sent.
OK, so I cracked the valve open and it started to fill real slow…like 10 minutes to get 1/2 way up the purple. Then it started leaking from the gauge end. I pulled the gauge sleeve out a couple times and it stopped for about 2 minutes, then starts leaking again when my fill tank gauge is around 1700 psi. Please help !
Even after I take the fill probe out It leaks even harder from the barrel and gauge area.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Where can you get and O ring kit for the .25 cricket? Or how do we get a hold of ernest?
Thanks Sherrod for the topic, and special thanks to Ernest . I just had the same issue with my .22 compact . Found little rust on the screw, cleaned it up, chenged the o-ring and all worked perfectly.

They are clearly working on gun parts that disintegrate in a timely manner (triggered by time delay or some sort of event). This is a controlled test for verification. It’s a matter of time before these “affordable parts” make it to all of our guns, and the zero hour would coincide with the Chinese invasion!

Wow what a coincidence, this very thing just happened to me earlier today. Sherrod i remember when we got our .22 standards only days apart. 💡 I changed the #8 o-ring but found that it was still leaking. Had planned to pm Ernest later but now i know to change the #19 o-ring. Luckily i had one of Ernest o-ring kits laying around 😆 Thanks Ernest and happy new year :8:

Change all 3 O-rings since your in there.

I have that happen to my Cricket, the one that cause the leakeage for mine is oring 11, which is for the oring guage itself and it’s all dried up.

Oring #19 is leaking by being to loose, dirty sealing surface or damage oring (put some soapy water in the fill hole to confirm). Most likely a dirty dry oring, clean Screw #18 replace oring and lub tighten screw lightly till it bottom out then back out 1 – 1 1/2 turns.
