Cracked Maddog Stock?
Just got bought a used Talon Stubby w/ Maddog stock. It has a crack that goes all the way through the bottom support. I knew about the crack before hand, but see that this could probably become an issue down the road.
Anybody had the same problem? What was the best remedy. I’ve already read about people drilling and doing a dowel rod in other stock repairs. However, this is a very thin section and I don’t believe that would be a wise idea.

If it was not being repaired by the maker, I’d use super glue often called CA glue. You can buy thin, slow setting from a hobby shop or online. Cappilary action will spread CA glue better than any other choice. Epoxy is too thick, I’d expect watered down wood glue is too thick as well. Clamp it with surgical tube if you have one, use a bungee coard, or Saran Wrap if you don’t.
Super glue is considered a permanent solution with the downside being that it’s non repairable. With the crack in the stock a glue bond is non repairable anyway…
