Q:

Guess I’ll call it a "T-Rod"

Once again, Tony comes through with flying colors!
UPS man showed up this morning with my TERYX stock. It came completely assembled and was an easy “drop in” installation.
Thank You Tony for the prompt service!
Standard Marauder= M-ROD
Pistol= P-ROD
GENN 2 Synthetic= Syn- ROD
This must be a “T-ROD”!

Thanks Caboose!
I haven’t even fired a shot through it yet with the new stock. I had the glass off of it and it needs to be dialed in. I ordered a UTG Weaver mount bipod with quick release. It was supposed to be here today but never showed up. Guess it’ll be here tomorrow. Once installed, I’ll be able to get it back on track. Maybe leave the Talon-Dor at home and do a little “T-Rod” squirrel hunting this weekend!

That does look good!! Glad you’re happy with the stock!! I may get another one, and put a PRS stock on it… 😆

Thanks for the complement Mike. The balance of the gun with the TERYX is far better than it was with the wood stock. I’m not a big guy and the Marauder , to me anyway, is hard to maneuver compared to my Talon-Dor. That’s why it’s been collecting dust since I got into the Air Force line.
You can’t go wrong with this stock. It’s also pretty friggin cool looking!

I agree that Carbon fiber really sets it off, Great looking gun.
I heard the Teryx stock is a little lighter than the wood , about like the Syn Rod , But the Teryx has a better balance point to it,
I got a tack driving .25 Syn Rod (when its sighted in) that I will do something with it one of these days,

Thank You Tony! The Marauders used to be my “go to” guns till I got my Talon and started modifying it. I just recently dug out the “T” Rod and blew the cobwebs out of it. They really are great guns but the factory wood stock just didn’t cut it. When I saw the TERYX it was love at first sight. It really does make a whole new gun out of it.
I picked up a Limbsaver recoil pad this morning and it cured my LOP issue. It’s designed specifically for the M4 buttstock and it fit like a glove.
If you have any other customers that could use just a little more length with this stock, you may want to tell them about it. Maybe even carry them in your inventory.
Thanks again for the fantastic customer service my friend!

Bad ass rig…
Carbon fiber looks great.
Glad you are happy my Brother.

It’s hard to tell if it lightened things up. My factory stock was shortened and the butt end had been “hogged” out to lighten it up when I first got it. The wood Marauder is a great gun but it’s kind of a log to carry around.
The TERYX has a great feel to it and the craftsmanship is outstanding. I love the fact that you can adjust the pistol grip fore and aft. As I mentioned in an earlier post, at full extension, it’s just a hair too short for me but a recoil pad will cure that.

Did it lighten the gun up any. If so how much?
Thanks
RJ

I need about another 1/2 inch LOP. Limbsaver makes a pretty nice recoil pad for the M4 buttstock. Gonna look for one locally tomorrow. If not, trusty old Amazon has it in stock!
