im up to 75 fpe with the condor! 81 fpe!
With the reg setup stripped off so i can get a bigger adapter made i decided to make a .030 washer to go under the top hat to see what it would do. With the .040 i was getting just at 67 fpe. So here is the setup: 22 condor, ttqc top hat wide open, tt 95 gr hammer with slap mod, .030 washer behind tophat, power wheel bottom out on low side, 3 kpsi fill. Got 1021 fps avg with the 32.4 gr ej pellets for 75 fpe! Thats just funny. Now i needs me another squirrel to show up. Lol this thing was rocking my back stop from 12 ft which is what i do the chrony testing from. And if that coyote shows back up i know he will be toast. Almost tempted to go with the .020 just to see. Wide open dumps. I need some 40 gr 22 cal pellets now! That would be nuts.

I think about 70fp is the magic number. I’ve seen a fox head literally blown apart with 70fp, like two bits apart. So yeah it will toast squirrels alright.
Accuracy with the 32 gr ej are as pinpoint as the 25 gr jsb. Right now the way the gun is set up anything lighter goes ss. At 65 yds im getting 1/2 in avg groups pretty easy. Most of my shooting is 40 or less and the shots are touching. This thing at 75 fpe was awesome against squirrels and gophers cant wait for another to pop up. Lol
Your post is very interesting, to me. What kind of accuracy are you getting with the heavy Eun Jins? Does the .22 Condor barrel’s rifling rate of twist support the heavier “slugs”, 40 grains or more? I’m looking forward to find out how accurate these 40 grain bullets are, in your Condor.
Me and my son were sitting around and looking at all the math and numbers and theory was with a .020 washer under the top hat i should get 1070 fps with the 32 gr ej. I 1066 avg. Its an airhog but a beast. Made an order for some 45 gr slugs. Will see what happens with those. Should be around 92 fpe as is. Cant wait!
Will have to check him out also. I am calling a memer over on the GTA this afternoon to see about some 40 gr round nose slugs or dome pellets. I think those will transferr more energy into the target adn not just slice through like the pointed EJ’s. Had a few HOSP’s out back yesterday and I looked at them and just started laughing. Would probably look like they ate dynomite if I hit them with the condor right now. May have to set up the camera where all the bird seed falls and get some slow mo exploding sparrows.
