Q:

22 condor barrel diameter

I recently ordered some pellets from Mr. hollow point. We started with the .217 pellets but they were too large to push in the breech. I found the .216 to be perfect.

I hope to try them for accuracy soon.

Does everyone else’s AF 22 Barrel seem to like the .216?

Right now im waiting on parts for a regulator set up so i am playing with it to see how much power i can get out of it. Current set up is 81 fpe with the 32 gr ej. Anything lighter goes super sonic. i was originally thinking 40 gr but decided 45 would be cool to see what happens. If they are too tight or heavy ill drop to the 40 gr in .217 to see what happens. This is a fun platform to tune and mess with.

Thanks for the Info. Where are you getting your 45gr Boat tails?

MIne shoots the JSB 25.4 gr monsters well which are .215 and the EJ 28 and 32 gr which are both .218. The JSB lead is alot softer so I am thinking the skirt flares out for a nice tight seal when the air pressure hits it. The EJ are tight to get in but shoot very well. Lots of power and great accuracy. I have some 45 gr short boat tail slugs coming in that are .218 and hopefully work well. I will post up the results when I get a chance to shoot them.
