Q:

.25 factory regulator length. HELP.

So I went to the range yestarday and was shooting my cricket at 100 yds and out of 20 shots I was getting a 6 inch group now most of the bad accuracy I blame on the 20 mph gusts. But I notice in guite a few shots my pellets were spiraling really bad. And I am only getting about 20 shots from 195b to 120b is this normal for a stock .25 ?

I have taken my gun apart because I want more efficiency I did 2 turns on my VS. And I have checked the length on my reg. From base to top and it is 2.1875 or 55.56 mm. This seems much longer then most, is my reg. Set to hot?

I want my reg around 115b is there a general measurement to get me close to that?

The key safety point if you don’t have the reg tester, don’t go over half covering the HP air inlet with the delrin adjuster, look through the hole if you start to see the delrin end stop you are close to 120b. If you totally block the hole you will restrict the air supply or even total blockage.

At 55.56mm I would be surprise if it’s sill regulating/working at all ?
Reg OAL = 53.45mm, +/- .18mm ~ 115 bar.
Be careful when going CW, you don’t what to bottom out and indent the Delrin seat you may what to remove the e-clip before adjusting.

Also when reinstalling the reg place the breather hole facing upwards, it helps to keep the lube in there from coming out over time.

What speed are you targeting Kings at for best accuracy ?

Also reg set to 115 bar at 2 turns CW on the VS retainer, you might not have enough Hammer spring tension to get to the speed you want ?
Efficiency will be more evident when you adjust your HST to the max peck velocity.
