Q:

Rain Storm 3D Bullpup – Trigger Pics

Message likely goes out to Manny!

I took my 3D apart few months ago to change o-rings and adjust hammer spring.
Now, my procrastinating has gotten me! I cant figure out how to hook the trigger linkage back up for the rifle…. I even have a couple of screws left over 😯

Any chance someone can post a photo of the trigger/linkage setup?

Thanks!

Ho yeah, make sure your safety isn’t engaged whet you trying to move the trigger blade :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

Take the screw off the buttpad and the one that screws the bock into the action, that will aloud the block to move forward so you can line up those holes and put the screw in,

now get the block secured to the action and the buttpad, at this point you can play with the side screw, screw all the way in and than just let off a tad until you feel the trigger is free to move.

Kep coming with the pictures if you get stuck :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

here is update. I can’t get the linkage back far enough to line up with the shoe. The linkage does not appear to move the trigger even if it was lined up.

quote HavocX:

I was able to attach the small spring and the trigger shoe to the blade, then screw in from the side but trigger linkage would not allow trigger to fire.

I see you missing the screw in the block too, that block needs to be secured to the action for everything to work

rkr,

it works as a pull rod, not a push rod, ……..that’s why of that pivot linkage.

when you squeeze the trigger it pulls the rod that pulls that shoe and the blade that sits in the slot gets pushed back.

OMG, no wonder people complain about those triggers. That’s just completely wrong as far as geometry and execution is concerned. You could just screw off the blade and make a nice attachment bar for the rod. In addition to that the M3 rod will bend and cause very unprecise second stage.

Just read your post again, …you cannot tighten that side screw, just back off a tad.

In that last picture,
….you need to get that screw back in those side holes, that is what gives the trigger shoe a pivot to work

I was able to attach the small spring and the trigger shoe to the blade, then screw in from the side but trigger linkage would not allow trigger to fire.

OK, the slot goes over the trigger blade so the blade rides inside it, than you attach the little spring from the block to the trigger shoe, than a screw goes in the side attaching the shoe to the block working as a pivot, the longer bigger screw goes through the block into the action the shorter one in the hole in front of the sear, than one last screw from the buttpad into the block.

so you have 3 screws that go into that block from 3 different direction.

if you get stuck again post more pictures and I’ll try and see if I can help.

Sorry for crummy pics
