Q:

Trigger Job for older crickets

I recall quite some time ago a guy was doing a fix on the sloppy triggers for the older crickets. Does anyone recall?
You would send him the trigger and the rail that it is attached to. He would install bushings and shims to tighten it up

Got my trigger back from John and what a difference between this one and my old one. Nice job John. I recommend anyone with old wiggle trigger on their cricket to get the upgrade. Well worth it.

Hi Guys, I am the guy that makes the bronze bushings for the cricket trigger with the side slop. I didn’t get much response on this mod, it will make the trigger very snug with no lateral play at all. Have not been able to buy trigger blades so I will mod yours on exchange, unless you have a spare. Either way, I made the tooling for it. $20 shipped.

Try this.

Coda, why can’t I find it. Esting Rowe? What do you enter to get to it?

No guys that’s not it. The older crickets trigger have slop side to side and the guy installs a small bushing so trigger is nice and snug on pin.

Yes great fast and easy mod, done it to both of my crickets on day one.
A must if one wants to have a lighter second stage trigger pull.

I did it one year ago but is not necessary to remove any part of the trigger. Just unscrew that mentioned one screw and carefully install o-ring and screw back. Job for 5 minutes. 😉

Yes ?that’ was an old video just got to busy to update, weeks after I posted that video I found out that screw can clear the lever and remove to install an oring , spring or lock tight.

I can’t delete or update that video some how–bad account, now I’m posting video under “Esting Rowe” for all my new Videos.

Yes Jan, thanks. That’s exactly what I was talking about.
