Ahh, now I know why the silhuette shooting hasn’t caught up in Sweden. You are supposed to make those rams that you shoot from steel, not hay. No wonder you lads have trouble knocking them down. The scale/size is also rather important, having several meters high ram made out of hay is not exactly what the rule book says. Of course if you still can’t hit that several meters high thing I do fully understand your desire to burn it.

To turn the power up on this rifle turn the hammer spring adjustment screw clockwise. When I got this rifle it was an air hog extreme. I had to turn the power down
to reduce the noise and excessive air consumption by finding a lower power hammer spring at home depot. Now this thing is a sweet backyard friendly plinker that
won’t upset my neighbors.

One thing about these Evanixes is that they are horribly oversprung in the hammer department. I counted 6 valve openings / shot in my .357. I switched to a stiff hammer spring with 1mm negative preload and a nice power curve appeared while the valve opened only two times / shot. Transfer port is also undersized at least in .357 guns. Open it up to 75-80% of caliber and you get more power and better air efficiency. Then there’s the valve housing inlet but I guess we better not go that deep in tuning these guns.
