Muzzle Threading

i just watched this vid and i though it will be useful for all,,, but i don’t know whether this will be the same method for airguns or not?

Dear Hemn,
The air pressure at the muzzle of an air gun seldom exceeds 3000 psi, whereas the muzzle pressure of a powder burning gun can exceed 40,000 psi.
There is no way we can compare the two. The amount of metal taken from an air gun muzzle is not going to be affected by the low pressures we use. Even if we go to 4500 psi, that is still ten times less than that of an average large bore powder burner.

Can’t completely agree. Button rifling for instamce leaves pressure stress in the bore. When removing metall stress can relieve itself and make the bore grow.
