Q:

A baffle question

Hi , I have a condor SS and recently bought a shroud for it . With the shroud I guess you need to take the baffles out . I was wondering if there is a way to lower the baffle no more than 3/4 of an inch ? Reason I ask is because if I try to install the shroud with the baffles in the shroud will not set in tube all the way in where the baffles sit . I wanted to see if I could use both the baffle system and the shroud to see if condor SS will be even more quieter than it is . Don’t get me wrong the shroud by itself is quieter than the condor SS baffle system . Also can you do what I want to do .

Let us know how you got in. Sometimes an air space and then a shroud works better than baffles and a shroud. Try both and see which is quieter. I’ve also got a condor shroud from tony on order. I take it you like yours?

I had the same problem w/my Talon ss. I ended up filing down each of the three baffles just enough to slide my TT shroud exstension flush. When I’m not using the shroud, I place a plastic washer with a small rubber o-ring and then the end cap to keep everything from moving around. Hope my little bit of experience helps.
