FYI guys, GKU.
Dear Wild West Airguns Customer,
We wanted to reach out to everyone who has placed an order or might be interested in ordering the KalibrGun Colibri (Hummingbird). At this time we are working with KalibrGun to make modifications to the Colibri. After making the modifications to the Colibri we have not experienced any major issues with the airgun.
KalibrGun currently has inventory of the Colibri in Black finish with wood or synthetic stock. We are going to price the airgun at $1450 and INCLUDE the modification. They should be available within the next three weeks. If you already have an order in place for the Colibri please email or call to confirm receipt of this email.
We are also going to receive more of the Cricket 9mm/357 Bullpups with this next order. We are expecting the shipment of .25 Cricket Bullpups and more .25 Rifles to arrive sometime next week. Once they clear customs we will be ready to start shipping them.
We have added the JKHan line of airguns to our inventory. We have used them for plinking and hunting (prairie dogs in CO0 and find them to be an exceptional value. Check out the video of the Krosa .25 Bullpup:
We are also expecting a shipment of three (3) Ataman airguns to arrive any day. They made it from Russia to Houston to LAX. As soon as Customs figures out they are NOT firearms we should be able to pick them up. Matt will have information next week – WE HOPE!!!
We will also be adding the following brands to our inventory:
Jager – From Russia
Taipan Mutant – From Ukraine (we have one .22 available for purchase).
ATG Vulcan – From CZ Republic
Listone CO2 Pistols – From Taiwan
Have a GREAT WEEKEND!!!!
Steve

I’m working on a forearm/bipod/accessory mount for the hummer. I will post photos when complete.

If your asking me Dave. I don’t own one but almost did.
For those early adopters don’t take this the wrong way. There was no way to know what you end up with.
Do you own one?
Dave
I really can’t figure out how they are going to sell any with the Vulcan performing that good. Someone really has to have rocks to buy one. Can’t even mount a bipod on it. Nice theory but in the real world how much of the user base does it cover

Here’s getting rid of some of the unneeded baggage. I think this is some of the original OEM semi-auto parts that Ernest removed from my hummer. The mid range cocking nob on the hummer is in a perfect position…especially when compared to the butt position cocking handles. With the spring and guides removed the cocking nob is very smooth.
Here’s a couple of photos I photoshoped to give you a visual.
Sometime back according to WWAG Steve KG has completely abandoned the idea to make the bird cycle.
I ask Ernest about adding some kind if cup into the shroud here to make it cycle of off the vacuum effect.

But he said there is now way it could be done.
I think it could be done, but you will end up with the same results that KG did.
They try to get rid of all the friction they could (notice how smooth the cocking is) with still the same results of it being inconstant in doing so.
So close, but so faraway from perfection it must have been a sight to see.
In being an optimistic parent and hard pressed, it must have been a very hard decision for KG to drop their baby.
In design a semi-auto (electronically driven) is one thing, but to make a TRUE semi auto is a true piece of work IMO.
I believe KG will attempt a True semi or maybe in the works as we speak, but it will be called something else.

The semi-auto is DOA and they should not have brought the bolt action to market in it’s flawed state.
Thank goodness for people like Steve at WWAG for standing behind the product and a bull pup tuner like Ernest who can correct the design flaws.
That being said, the Hummer is not dead and is now one heck of a good shooting, nice well balanced air gun.
If KG can’t get the magazine fed version to work the semi-auto looks even less likely at this point. They need to stop selling $1500 air guns that don’t work properly IMO without a good gunsmith. 😆 I am sure glad I got an early skeleton Compact Cricket 177 and skeleton standard .22 Cricket before all of the changes. They are feather weights, accurate, and function flawlessly. 😛
So is the idea of a Semi version of the bird (original idea) completely abandoned or just being delayed while they try to sell manual repeater version first?
Extinct is a nice model name… 😎
After KG has made and done all the fixes.
WWAG will start to carry them again after testing it out themselves to confirm the fixes.

Hi SeCoda, lots of rumors going around. I was on the wait list from WWAG, and talked to their rep, was told the shipment that was expected would not arrive in the April shipment. No additional information was provided.

I responded to my survey inquiring about extra magazines, Steve said they are included in this next order. :8:
