Tuning w/out Chronograph: Tips and Suggestions
After spending a good deal of money on an AF Condor, pump, rings, ammo, etc. etc. I do not feel like spending another +/-$100 on another item like a chrony. MidwayUSA has some great deals going and eventually I will purchase one, but not right this second.
From those of you who have been through this, to those of us who will go through this, what tips do ya’ll have for initially getting our PCP’s ADEQUATELY tuned with no chrony?
I anticipate setting up @50 yards, fill to 3,000 PSI and shoot until a see significant drop in POI then record shot count and ending PSI.
Other than this method, are there any sage PCP’ers tips out there?
(I have 2,500 Crossman Premier .22CAL Domed Pellets on there way from BassPRo w/ gift card so I should have enough plinking ammo to tinker with.)
Thanks guys! :4:
