doing my due diligance before taking the plunge and getting one of these beauts. apparently there was some issue with indexing. has this been sorted out on the new models?

Fat dude. I would recommend on your R3m to take your breach off and clean out all the old grease . Take out the 4 small screws and clean the indexing lever really good. Look for sharp edges and polish any sharp edges. Take out your bolt and clean it .don’t forget the the bore. take some light moly grease and lightly lube it .try and get some into the slot in the bolt. move your bolt back and forth till its nice and smooth. Lube the indexing lever lightly and assemble it. Be careful how you tighten the 4 screws. 3 of them are tapered so just snug them and tighten lightly. They don’t need much at all. Once you have the breach assembled. play with it and feel how it functions. Moving it forward you should feel when you have a pellet in the mag or not. I mean when you’re breach is installed. You should feel that your bolt will go in a little easier without a pellet. Let’s say your mag is empty you should feel the slightest differents. I did this to mine and it’s very smooth. I do this about every 3 to 4 thousand pellets. Works for me. I like it.
More importantly will it work in the R3M?

My Edgun is a fairly new R3M, and the only problem I’ve had with indexing is when I don’t pull the bolt back hard enough. This isn’t a girlie gun, and needs to be cocked firmly.
I’ll be honest, I liked the single shot Edgun better. In fact, I’m going to make an adapter out of those plastic beads you melt and shape!
If it works, I’ll post pics of the process I used.

Edgun, what can be said? Ordered a R3M from Tony, man of few words, just the facts, in Florida. When I got into PCP’s ED’s guns seemed to be the apex in Bullpups.
