Edgun stock finish
I just became the owner of a Edgun Long Matador in 25 cal…….single shot. I love the stock finish. Dark brown. Just for the heck of it, I was wanting to rub in a few coats of Royal London Oil. Will this adversely affect the factory finish??? Is the factory finish an oil based type? Or a urethane type?
As a side note, I have owned alot of PCP’s over the past few years and this Edgun (I have a 22 cal too…..medium sized) are amazing. Thanks….kevin

Thanks Larry. I just want to add a bit of Royal London Oil to the factory finish. According to Ed’s formula……this should work!!!! Thanks Larry, for this great info. I also have a 22 cal Edgun that I used truckbed liner on. I am going to remove that crap and add a drop of ebony to my Rpyal London Oil and see if I can replicate Ed’s look. I love the Edgun. Just knocked out a starling with my 25 cal moments ago. The trigger on my single shot is stiff. It is the trigger with two screws. I’ll watch Ernest’s vid on how to lighten it up a bit. I truly do not know how I have gotten along without an Edgun. Shotcount is awesome……extreme spread is linear……..and very accurate!!!!!! And light. I love it. kevin
