My 10$ pellet trap
2 old file cabinets, pallet wood, old drag slicks. Clips and some old car mats. 30$ after bedliner paint

The tire caps are barely have marks on them from the pellets, they shroom then fall into the car mats that line the bottom, I just brush them out and into a container. But my gun is only 25 fpe
While not nearly as nice, I often use a bag of mortar or concrete (about $5 at the local Home Despot). Stops airgun and .22 for a while and when it’s done it’s easily disposed of and replaced.

I like the width. It would work great here in West Central Ohio what with all the 20-30 MPH gusty winds we’ve been having.

Yup the tire rubber is 1″ thick w/steel belts in it, it’s my 50yard target and work perfectly, quiet too!
Yours is much bigger than I would care to put together, but as long as you did not use it for the big stuff (over 100FPE) it should work great. It is probably very easy to empty out also.

I’ve no doubt. In my circumstance (and everyone’s circumstance is different) it’s just nice to have a throw-away, and not a permanent / semi-permanent fixture to maintain. While also not as nice, I’ve been thinking about putting up some 1-2″ ‘spotter discs” for quick confirmation of zero around the place. Won’t help a whit if I’m way off, but should help verify my mark for a given distance.
