9MM Cricket Converted to .30 cal
9MM pellets are to slow for me and think .30 at 920–960fps shooting 44g to 51g is more like it. the .25 cricket action converted to .30 was max out around 65 to 69FPE shooting 44g. the key to the 9mm action is the regulated chamber volume is 4 time as large compared to the .25 cricket plus the hammer is 3 times as heavy with a larger stronger hammer spring.
I set the reg at 1800PSI down from 2000 psi from stock setting.
At 220B and shoot it down to 115b I got 18 shots with ES of 7fps
also shot some slugs—-79G at 775fps, 84g at 750fpe, and 115g at 665fps.
after accuracy testing I will increase the reg pressure 2000psi and see what she can do.
I got Donny to make me a 20″ shroud to replace that 16″ CF shroud from the .20 STD cricket.
will be posting groups from all the pellets and slugs I used. Ron is providing the slugs for testing.
Got John to bush down the 9mm mag to .30
