Q:

My first PCP….. 24" condor .22

Finally pulled that trigger and picked up a new trigger 24″ condor in .22 hopefully to arrive on tues/wed. I also spoke with TT and picked up a couple of mods that will hopefully arrive shortly after the condor. I have the hammer slap, QCTH, and a TT shroud on order. I am about to die with excitement, this will be the longest 3 days ever!

Well like almost everyone else I hope to make this “broomstick” as quiet and backyard friendly/deadly as possible.

Thanks and pics to follow soon. :biggrinn:

TT package arrived today, bit mailbox lock is broken. Really broken, so now i have to wait another day to get my package, ugh this is killing me!!!!!

Hopefully tomorrow will be full of slinging lead quietly.

Welcome to the airforce guns addiction! They are great guns. Of course one of the main reasons it feels so much lighter than other PCPs is because the tank is at the back and doubles as the shoulder stock. The fact you have a bit less room to get your eye relief is a price well worth paying for the lightness for me.

Tony’s moderator is reckoned to be one of the best, if not the best. There are some other tricks to get the noise down further. If your gun is not the SS model with internal suppressor then it is very similar to mine, also 24 inch barrel, and I have found a good way to get the sound down further. I shall be posting that up on the forum so everyone can benefit in the same way I have benefited from so many helpful suggestions on here.

PS: Remember to do one thing at a time as you introduce any upgrades or modifications so you know exactly what it has done in terms of power, sound, air consumption, accuracy etc. I look forward to your next update and a photo(s) of your gun.

Tonight, changed the rings off my UTG bug buster to mount on my Condor. No problems with the mount, cheek weld is al little low, but waiting till I get a package from Tony before I can really test this setup in my backyard. 🙂 I am stoked to find a nice and quiet shooting package that can accommodate suburbia.

It is here! Picked up a few different .22 pellets to try today.

Came with spin loc tank with foster fitting, but hill pump requires tank to be taken off the gun, can I just pick up and adaptor to attach to the quick disconnect (foster fitting?) on the side of the tank?

I must say that the rifle is much lighter than I thought it looks. it shoulders nicely, but the tank is just slightly in the way for a good cheek weld. I cannot wait for my package from Tony to arrive!!! I am also thinking of installing my UTG bug buster until my discretionary funds replenish.

More to follow.

No not yet, gun and pump should be here tomorrow. I will post up some of my reviews as soon as i can test it.

How are you getting on with it? Have you got the talon tunes moderator yet?

Woot! You’re gonna love it. Start thinking about air – (how you’re going to fill it).
