Which chrono?

I haven’t fired it up yet.
A new friend here suggested a combro.
I like the portability of the combro.
Thoughts?

There’s a procedure for lining it up properly, all quick and easy, no reason to be shooting your poor little Combro chronos. 😥
yes you could with .25. i prefer to steer away since i shot it twice 😳
Looks like you have some good options there from people with a lot of chrono experience.
Just for the record, you can certainly use a Combro on a 25 cal barrel without worrying about the pellets clipping the device, I have mine in daily use on mine, no problem at all. I’m sure the holes are wide enough for larger calibres than 25 as well!
anyway thats a mighty good price for prochrono.
i got 3 chrono currently. had 4 but shot 1. ive got green chrony, combro mk4, and prochrono
generally i would say prochrono takes the win. easy to use, stores 99×9 strings, pretty straight forward and accurate. downs would be the size and light sensitive. needs bright environment or sky. i shot my mk4 combro twice. fked up the back sensor, but those brit guys just simply amazing. they replaced both with no cost so i must speak for them so u guys know what these ppl would do to keep us happy although i dont mind paying for the fix. if ur using .25 cal, i wudnt use combro as it has a very narrow space for pellet to pass. now i only use it for my .177. keep in mind muzzle blast can also shift the chrono.
generally i would say stick with prochrono since u already bought that anyway. i bought the mk4 just to keep it in the gun case for small game.
and as for accuracy and fps comparison, in my case, they are exactly the same. most reading is the same. maybe 10percent would be 1fps different, and ive seen only once 2 fps different. maybe light issue from the prochrono?

I’ve got the Combro and I love it. Same one as on your link. One of the features I really like is that you can if you so wished just leave it almost permanently on the end of the barrel. So often when I am target shooting I leave it on so I can keep a close eye on fps versus tank pressure and fps versus accuracy. I was doing that today and noticing an increase in accuracy as I went into the low 900s etc. The combro rarely gives error messages etc and is “cheap as chips”.

Id stick with the 1 you bought. The one on ebay is pretty cool but a very small window for errors. I know it would get murdered in my house. I have hit my f-1 chrony several times and that’s a big window to shoot through. Chrony’s are easy to set up and carry the one I have folds in half and is about the same size as my range finder when folded.
