Q:

Hawke 10X?

I’m considering one for my talon ss .22, but can’t find any reviews for it. I like the 1/2 mil reticle, ruggedness and light transmission associated with a fixed power scope. For some reason I’m starting to believe the Hawke side focus is more accurate for range finding inside of 100yds than my other AO scopes. I’m a little concerned with slop when dialing for elevation and wind and repeatable return to zero without having to take a few shots to settle the adjustments. Anyone have experience with this scope?

i used hawke endurance before. i find it a bit glaring even with the sun shades. trade it back with sidewinder. now im happy. could be my eyes i dont know. plenty of good scopes with that kinda budget mate but my advice, you have to try it yourself one by one. different people like different glass.

I myself do not own a Hawke scope, but I have looked through a few and all I have heard is very good words for any Hawke scopes. Also, another very good clue is you do not see very many used Hawke scopes for sale. I would not fear buying one. I do believe you will be very happy with it.
