Barrel Replacement for Cricket Rifle 22 Caliber
Does anyone know where I can buy a CZ barrel for a Cricket rifle that will not have to machined? I contacted Lothar Walther USA but they only sell blanks that needs the inlet cut, crown work and other machining done.

I don’t think the sales rep or whoever you talked to at CZ-USA the powder burner Co. has knowledge of barrel contracts. Or there is a totally separate company in CZ that makes the barrels for KalibrGun or both. Steve @ Wild West Airguns or Bori @ Topgun-Airguns would be most able to happily assist you. Another member here posted he has one for you as well. You could have the stocker refinished or hot blued and have Ernest polish the bore, so I wouldn’t give up on it. Didn’t the lead coating in the bore protect the inside ?
Dave thanks for the link.. 194 Euro = $217 for the 25 caliber, maybe the .22 will be less? The .25 is made by LW if they sell a .22 it will be interesting to see the manufacturer. I am going to call (+34 635 299 784) today and will post my findings, that is if we can communicate.
I was able to get a replacement barrel from WWAG. I still have it if you want it. WWAG sold it to me for $150 and I would sell it for $125.
Don
Don I just sent you a PM.

After reading the last couple of posts I decided to call CZ-USA and find out if they would sell me a replacement .22 airgun barrel. The fellow I spoke with said CZ-USA doesn’t have or sell any airgun barrels. I said KalibrGun Czech Republic told me to call you for a barrel. He then suggested I get in touch with a KalibrGun airgun distributor in the USA because CZ-USA has nothing to do with airguns.
Monday morning I have an appointment with a local gunsmith that is supposed to be the man when it comes to barrels. Im hoping the Cricket Carbine will be as or even more accurate than it was with the CZ barrel when he is finished. I will post in this thread with any updates.
Sam63 could kalibrgun sell the barrel to you or they do not want ? What the hell with company which do not want to sell some part of his own product!!!
From what I have read the .22 barrels are CZ barrels made for KalibrGun. I contacted the company in Czech Republic and they said contact CZ-USA which I did. They have not gotten back to me yet, but will update this thread if/when they do.
You are venturing down a deep dark rabbit hole.
You will encounter many dead ends…. you may not like the truth

CZ barrel is not CZ barrel? I got lost. Or maybe the barrel blank was not machined by CZ for KalibrGun?
They sent me an email asking for the serial # and my address. Gave them both and this was the reply:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am pleased to inform you that our customers in the USA are cared and served by our subsidiary located there. All contacts and information are available at this company website at: http://www.cz-usa.com
Anyway, the air gun mentioned in your e-mail is definitely not product made by our company. The CZ acronym is a part of many names of companies located in the Czech Republic.
Yours faithfully,

The gun was exposed to dampness and the barrel pitted after the rust was removed. Still shoots great but when I see the pitting it bothers me.
I found a local gunsmith that will replace my barrel with a Lothar-Walther AG .22 barrel. Now hoping the LW shoots the JSB 18.1’s like the original barrel did because I have a lot of them.
hm, It would be interesting….
I am really interested if you will receive any reply from them. What is the reason for replacement?
No problem you welcome. 😉
I just sent them an email asking if they sold replacement barrels. Thanks for the email address.

Don was nice enough to sell me the CZ barrel he bought from WWAG at a fair price. Thanks Don
Thanks for the helpful info REARSPROCKET. My barrel was damaged on the outside only, after removing the surface rust their was some pitting. I shot it Saturday and it was its accurate self(these Crickets sure are accurate). The gunsmith I went to yesterday put me in touch with a young man that re-blues barrels. I am going to take a ride(2 hrs each way) and drop off the barrel when Don’s barrel arrives.
