Legitimacy of Archery/Arrow/ Bolt Kit?
Hey guys. I’ve been really considering an archery/ arrow conversion kit. Bow hunting and archery was one of my BIGGEST passions until a serious accident occurred where my string snapped on my Bowtech CPXL and I nearly lost my left eye. Was blind in that eye for some time! To say the least, I almost have PTSD from it and can hardly shoot a bow and enjoy it anymore!! :'(
I wanted to hear some opinions on this option for the Air force rifles.
1st… I would like to know if it is legal to hunt with this kit during actual archery season? What’s the legalities here?
2nd… How loud/quiet is it? I would imagine that it would be somewhat muffled given the heavy bolt on the end of the tube? I mean if it’s loud then there’s not much advantage to using it. I would want it to be quiet! Hopefully you can fill me in there as well.
3… Any additional information would be great! Those are my two primary concerns/ questions.
I’ve done some reading and research but haven’t come across anything addressing those two questions.
Any advice or reviews would be awesome!

No real “giants” here in this part of Tennessee but just as tasty! These are all crossbow deer. Most folks wouldn’t mount small deer but I do my own taxidermy!

You should check Virginia laws regarding archery equipment. Here in Tennessee, bow or crossbow ONLY!
I have been a bow hunter most of my life but recently have been having rotator cuff issues and can’t hold at full draw for more than a few seconds. This past deer season (2014-2015) I hunted with a crossbow and was very successful.
My best shot to date, 72 yards through thicket, perfect heart shot on a doe.

Check your laws for usage. We can use it here in south Carolina during rifle and muzzleloader season not for archery.
