I agree that both the cricket and EDgun are both more accurate than the shooter could possible hope to shoot on his best day. Having said that I do think the EDgun is a superior weapon. The EDgun has better workmanship it has a better feel and in the .25 caliber it is much more compact. I owned both the cricket and EDgun at the same time. There were things I liked about both guns and I could not complain about the cricket’s accuracy. In the end I decided to sell the cricket and keep the EDgun for the reasons already stated. My suggestion brothers is to choose the gun you like the best and be happy with your decision The EDgun and the cricket are both wonderful airguns. The Russians really know how to make a wonderfully accurate weapon.

Totally agree dear brother. Edgun design is superior and very solid. As shown in a video by Ed where he takes the whole gun apart then reassembles it and the POI remains the same. It’s not possible with Cricket as the screws on loops that attach the rail, barrel and air tube need to be torqued properly. there is a thread where a guy was experiencing inaccuracy just because he was over tightening the stock. there are many complexities involved in the design of cricket.

I couldn’t agree more. It all comes down to personal choice. They both do there intended job. :2cents:

dear keyser brother if you compare both Edgun and Cricket which is more accurate

Depends on who is shooting which gun!

Hoot:

My cricket also liked that speed (925). I have found that the king 25 can handle more speed than its cousin the 22. I had excellent accuracy all the way to 975 but for me I always try to find the regulator’s sweet spot. That is where the gun produces the most foot pounds for the air consumed. Seems the Russians set their regulators for 925. This seems to be best compromise for energy and efficiency.

KS, would you say same apply on 25 cricket around 925 fps?.

Pellets: JSB kings.

Speed: somewhere between 880- 940. I’m EDgun is most efficient at 925 with the kings.

Congrats on the new Eddie.
