moist on side of breech?
Anyone see this before? Is this a sign of leak or just temp diff from inside of house to backyards?
My gun is stores inside my house with stable temp of 75* AC, bring it out to the back yard at mid 80*and humidity is pretty high at this time of the year (houston ).
Hopefully it’s not a leak. Guage show no sign of pressure lose at all.
And no air puff from side of breech at all.

Hey Phil.. How do you charge the smaller caliber pistol? It doesn’t have the foster on the end of the cylinder like the larger pistol.
I was thinking about that cruch washer too, ill check that out. Thank you
I say you have an extremely small leak past your lower breech seal. Nowhere near enough to notice physically but sign of condensation build up would suggest to me a small amount of air getting past seal on each shot cooling outside of tube and your breath is causing it to condensate. Snug down breech screws or replace crush washer.

Dear X,
Not to worry! The shot reduces the pressure in your air cylinder and it gets cold…just the opposite of what happens when you increase the pressure (it gets hot).
If the ambient air temperature outside is high enough, and humidity is high. the moisture will condense on the outside of the air cylinder when it suddenly chills from a reduction of pressure. This is how air conditioners remove moisture from the air inside your house. The air inside your air cylinder can’t condense moisture because that air is very dry!

Thinking it is just water condensing from breathing true nose on the cold metal , nothing to worry about 😉 ,try shooting that amount of shots with a rag over the place where you put your face and check if it still happens
This happen while I am shooting, after 30-40 shots I start to see it. pressure reading around 140/150 bar when I am seeing it. Reg is at stock which I assume around 130bar.
Was this after you shoot or did you discovered it this way when not shooting . when I shoot i have this on my cricket at that place because of breading from the nose ,it looks like it could be on the same place on your rifle . Hopfully it is bud probably to simple .
