12" barrel
What is the greatest velocity you have gotten with a 12″ 177cal barrel? What gr pellet did you use and what mods if any?

Without the strangled valve, the one time I dropped my 12″ .177 barrel in my SS it went supersonic until I put either a factory or even lighter aftermarket hammer in it. then I was able to de-tune it to around 550 – 600 FPS for some 10M shooting. If one were looking to do that type of shooting, I would suggest either the micro meter tank/valve combo or an Edge. It was a fun experiment, but in all honesty I promptly switched it back to the 18″ .22 barrel and turned it back up to it’s happy place, right around 900-925 FPS.

P.S. I am power hungry with my Air Force guns, but tuned my 25 M-Rod down for better shot count.

With a 12″ barrel and the standard tank that comes on the talon you can get the power down to about 13 or 14 fpe. I dont remember how fast it will go but I doubt the 12″ with the standard flow tank will go supersonic. I know I never had mine go supersonic with that setup using lead pellets but I didnt go below 8.4 grains and mostly used 10 gr. when I was pushing standard power levels and I used 8.4 when I tuned it for sub 14 fpe. I dont have any mods on my talon ss to get those results.
