13 FPE backyard blaster
Just doing some backyard shooting with my Cricket, which has been powered down to 13 FPE :biggrinn:. During my shooting session, a speedy lizard about 8 inches long quickly darted from left to right on the top of the fence. Dang that critter was quick. I had no time to line up my shot. 😆 No worries, even if I were to take the shot, behind my fence is a huge piece of land and thus no safety issues. Cheers!
The target is the white box behind my shed.
As the photo shows, the distance from my shooting position is 17 yards.

Cute pooch spinj !!
This is our little Coyote (Silky Terrier/Chihuahua), she insist upon sleeping with us ever since we got her. She has over 600 toys and she know all of them by name.

The lizard looked like the one in the photo below. I so wanted to shoot that damn thing!

Hehe. It’s just the bulldog stock. I just call it a Shi Tzu stock after my little bubba (which happens to be a shi tzu dog). When I first got my Cricket he was all around it, sniffing the gun, and well, I decided then to just associate a part of the Cricket to him. Here he is:

What does a Shi Tzu Stock look like I’ve never seen one ?

It was around 110 degrees when I was shooting. Typical valley summer heat in AZ. It’s so hot that the metal parts of the gun heat up to about the same temperature. If I need to get my shootin’ fix, though, even such heat won’t dissuade me from having fun with the Cricket.

Great shooting for 17 yards – I’m looking for that at 50+ – It must be getting hot out there now too lizards moving that fast and all 😯
