Q:

Storage Device for .25 Mags

Quick ask to see if anybody can recommend a good item to store 4 loaded magazines in when hunting?

I am away from home at the moment, perhaps somebody might have the diameter and thickness of the magazines ?

Needs to be quiet and light, I am guessing some kind of plastic tube with caps?

Well , Thats why I like my stock OEM stock, I am a big fan of the magazine holder on the stock,,, With The Zonk O ring in the magazines you do not have to worry about the magazine falling out like with the two OEM O rings…
I would also like to think you guys for NO PICTURES,
Thanks, I had a really big lunch.

Was it you Spin that invented this cool new accessory? With the “tactical” britches, thay gots pockets everwhur! Next thang I’m gonna invent is a new idear I got… It’s a thang that u hang on yore back with straps… got pockets all over it. Kinda like a suitcase you wear on yore back. Think I’m gonna call it a “backpack”… I bet it will sell like hotcakes! 🙂 Gonna make ’em big enuf so’s u can put ur whole Bullpup in it. :winkn:

 I just knew you were going to mention pants.

It’s times like these I am glad I have the bulldog stock to hold the magazines. Otherwise, I’m going to have to purchase Salt’s genius contraption.

Salt, what about for us “gentlemen” who like to shoot topless? Please come up with a design to resolve this issue ASAP. Please make sure your design does not obstruct the view of our nipples because, you know, doing so prohibits the cooling effect especially when shooting on those hot summer days. Plus, exposed nipples while shooting just, well, makes us look that much…umm… cooler.

Already got that worked out.. Someone beat me to this cool new invention so I can’t take credit for it… Things are called “pants pockets”! Now if u wanna hunt nekked, something to keep your spare magazines will be the least of your worries, at least around here.

Don’t think you would shoot topless for long with Scottish midgies biting you.

Those pill tubs look just the ticket.

That’s the thing, I’m not from Scotland. And what’s wrong with shooting without any restraint? https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/32/6b/05/326b053688a99bef54e0db486edec27e.jpg

I have a brand new (Patent applied for) device I thunk up… It’s called a “Shirt pocket” and comes with a flap and a button complete with button hole for said button.. I’m just sayin’… 😆

Don’t know about .177 cal. mags, but it fits .22 and .25 perfect! :8:

I use the circular pill holders they sell at pharmacies. Each magazine has its own hard container and all the containers screw together. It is easy to swap out empty magazines for full ones and you can tell if the magazines are full or empty with out opening the container. Some are even color coded so if you shoot different pellet types you can keep them organized.

If you are interested just go to Amazon and search on “Ezy Dose 7-day Stackable Pill Reminder – Small”

I haven’t measured my friends 25 cal mag, but if they measure less than 39 mm OD.
They should fit into this salt and pepper shakers.

The 4 oz. pepper shaker I use to carry all 6 mags to go to the farm.

I used the white sponge foam the pellet tins and cutout to pads for the cap and bottom of the shaker.
It can be cut to what ever amount of mag you what it to hold up to 6 mags max.
I also used a piece of pipe insulation as a spacer on the bottom of one so I didn’t need to cut the height down.
