25 Cal 10shot 100yd Group
I got up a little early this morning grabbed a cup of coffee to clear the cobwebs and shot a couple of 10 shot 100yd groups with my 25cal. Normally first thing in the morning there is little to no wind. I used the first two pellets in the mag to wake up the gun and proceeded to do my best. I ended up at 1.25″ CTC. The biggest issue I have is stabilizingthe butt of the stock with me leaning slightly on it and breathing plus the heart beats. I was using an Atlas clone on the front and a bag on the back. It seems like a constant battle getting the rear of the gun just right. Anyway I thought it shot really well, better than what I can for sure.

I got to get me some of those sand bags,
Never tried sand bags just , gun rest, tripod, and mono pod, and a bipod,

the circled group is 2.109″ and the wind was average 10 mph with gusts of 15-20 it was kind of fun trying to wait for the best time to shoot. wind never die completely thow! 😀
Yea, that wind sucks. Right at daylight or dusk is the best time. If its during mid day around here it’s going to be really hot but heck I’ll still do it with a refreshment and the shade of the back porch. :winkn:

JSB 25.4’s at 925ish. I think about 49fpe. Benjamin Domes a while back where shooting really well for me too.

Seriously though, that’s some fine shootin’! Other than just “checkin'” the gun at 100 yards, I’ve not sat down and shot groups at that distance. I’ve made some bird, squirrel, and turtle kills at that distance and greater, but I’ve not really “tested” my gun to see what it is really doing. If I can, I’m going to try that this weekend.
If I get even close to that, I’ll be happier than a pig in a wallow!
I haven’t shot that far in a while as well. The way my range is set up I’m good all the way to 80 but then to shoot 100 I have to move my shooting bench and then 100 is my only option. The majority of my shots seem to be 60-80. I’ve taken a lot of Collared dove at the 80 range and one last week at 130, fourth mil-dot and a prayer.
