Just found the companies webste. You’ll need to translate it, but interesting read. Just got mine yesterday. I’m already painting the stock! Otherwise I love it. It came shooting the jsb 14 grn at 1000 fps! Turned it down to 912 and it got much quieter. Here’s a link to their website.

Thanks for the compliments. I had the Taipan and mutant in mind when I painted it. I used several sized biohazard stencils to “battleship” the stock then applied the pattern. Endo I had read somewhere that the most effective baffle system used chambers that started large and reduced towards the muzzle. The mutant has four chambers not including the shroud. Two large and two small. They were arranged small, big, small, big. I just put the two large ones towards the breech end. It seemed more quiet. Ive thought about drilling some holes in the rear of the shroud as in the edgun. Being quiet is very important to me as I shoot in a back yard.
Wow, that is a great looking mutant. The paint does match the snake skin, and it is called Taipan. I like it.

It’s just krylon camo paint finished with polyurethane clear. I’m tempted to sand and re coat the clear until it’s extra smooth but that would kind of defeat the purpose. Use, scratch, paint,repeat. Shot a full string this morning with the jsb 14 grn.

200- 955 it jumped up for 7 shots. Reg settling maybe
180- 903
160- 907
140- 914
130- 945 I’m assuming it was off the reg and climbing because the valve was knocked open easier.
For a total of 80 shots it was pretty much stacking pellets at 25 yds. That’s what I’m limited to. I’ll just keep shooting until the reg settles a bit. Pretty happy with this thing. Everything works smooth and crisp.
Now that looks awesome. Is it textured or a flat finish. Great job.

Here’s my mutant with its new paint job. Some may not like it but I just didn’t like the black. I did pull the baffles out and I put the two large ones on bottom. It seemed to make a difference. No problem in the backyard now. :biggrinn:
Yes mine has the three divits on top. I ordered from WWAG Monday before last. I think he had to do some testing before they shipped. It came with a target and shot string. It seemed way louder than expected but then it was running super hot. That’s why I made the shroud adapter for it. Shooting around 900 it is way more quiet. I don’t think I need all that speed! Plus I’m shooting in a backyard. Now the impact is pretty loud. Can anyone comment on the effectiveness of drilling holes in the shroud?

how long did it take to get your gun, after u placed your order? 🙄
does your barrel have 3 divets on top side between airtube clamp and breach?
Here’s the pup before the paint job. Cleaning the barrel and inspecting pellets pushed through it seems to be a cz barrel. Same feel, number of lands, same width of lands ect. It would be nice if airgun barrels were stamped with the manufacturer like rifle barrels. You can see in the pic that the short base allowed me to use short leupold rings on the legend.

My stock baffle arrangement is large, small, small, large. The manufacturer may insert them randomly, I think.
