Talon SS and Hill pump
First real air gun…Glanced at manual, attached tank, hooked up pump…
Over 100 pumps ans needles still pegged hard at zero. Is that the way it should be?
I’m worn out and no progress. Can ya’ll help a noob? :3:

Pumping isn’t all that bad when you get a good technique going. It’s not a job for the back. It’s a good exercise for the legs and arms. At first you may feel like you will loose balance but try it this way…. Stand up straight and pull the pump handle up by bending your arms. As you start down bend at the knees as you straighten your arms. Your back will thank you ❗
I used to pump during commercials and sit to rest and watch TV until the next commercial. Don’t overdue it, maybe 25-50 strokes at most. Don’t hurry, the pumping gets harder as pressure builds and the pump can get overhearted and even be damaged by fast continuous pumping.
