Refrigerated Air Dryer

At one time I thought I might get a Shoebox compressor, and came across an Arrow Refrigerated Air Dryer, so I got it. I figured that I could put it between the oil-less air compressor and the shoebox. Well I ended up getting a Omega, and it does not need a first stage compressor, but I am wondering could I still use a first stage compressor and put the air dryer between? How would I hook up the input air into the Omega? Or should I just sell the air dryer and not bother?
