Stock STRIPPED Airforce CONDOR frame ONLY, from their CUSTOM SHOP….$305……Have to call as they always show out of stock on their website….I called and lady said i had to and had my bare frame in a week… DID come with the breech and POS stock hammer, Trigger and the funny fore grip……SPIN LOCK TOO………………..CARL
What scope are using? I imagine a 28″ barrel to get all the velocity out of the air you can!
Yes I AM PUSHING just to see WHERE IT CAN GO….I have 600 yd video to post and today went to same range to see HOW to set up with a RAM at 700 yds…. Gun will get there, limit will be the EXTRA 40 MOA i will need to increase distance by 100 yds…..Soon rear of scope will be so high with the swivel adjustable rail height, the end of barrel will be in scope view? That will be my limitations. Scope is a HAWKE SIDEWINDER http://www.hawkeoptics.com/sidewinder-8-32×56-20x-mil-dot.html
Barrel is 34″ long….Rough Rule of thumb when i started interested in this 5 months ago on forums is 10 fps per inch of length?? May be or NOT ACCURATE but longer is better up to a point, where ever that is 😯

What frame have you used to build the .257 , i would be interested in one for some long range shooting.
Carl, Great shooting! That is pushing the limits of air powered bullets.

I would love to see the video but all my utube stuff turns up with a green screen.
Good to hear that folks are still shooting long range with cast bullets.
Thanks Roachcreek…Reading yours, Cedric and Dougs posts this past January got me interested….Got a standard .257 from Randy in Feb…..What i had learned i wanted MORE, so i procured the components from knowledge i gleaned from this site and with my gunsmiths machining have the red rifle i am stretching it’s legs now with……If i can find the right area try to go at 700 yds to see where i am hitting, if i CAN get enough MOA with my adjustable rail for scope??? Thanks for your input…………Carl
Seeing it shoot is uneventful……It sounds at firing kind of like the sound of the incoming bullet just before it hits the steel….Would be a very boring video, believe me…………..Carl
NO STOCK CONDOR will get any where close to this gun…….I use the Lyman 257420 mold that drops my bullets at 71 grain at 20-1 lead/tin ratio. You can use a lee sizer but they ONLY make .257 and 258 as close and they aren’t accurate……..Get a .257 and hone to what you want. Tight patch on brush and in a drill, use 600 grit and get what you need. Tank is from China but you DON’T need one….3400 psi is all you need………I shoot TETHERED so with the regulator i don’t worry about how many shots…..I don’t carry it or hunt. It was built for just what i am doing with it…The heavier the bullet and with just an air supply i am NOT sure just how far they will accurately shoot………Never owned but what i have in AIR…

What other calibers do that kind of long distance plinking? .357? I want to get the most out of my stock condor or invest in the new texan. How many shots does this .257 condor get with all the mods? What is the most basic setup to shoot out to 500-600 yards? I have been plinking that distance with my samyang 9mm recluse and have casted 120 – 190grain bullets. I would be interested to convert my condor if it can out shoot my samyang 9mm and .45
Thanks pretty cool Karl! Love the sound of the round coming in.
Great shooting!

I would love to see the gun shooting next time. The incoming. 257 bullets are lethal! Wow that’s a powerful sniper air cannon!
Amazing just love the incoming .257s
Wow amazing shooting! I would love to mod my stock condor the same way. I live in Canada and want to know what investment is needed to get that type of setup to shoot 600 yards? I bought a Lyman .257 mold for 65 grain bullets and wanted to know if you use a Lee sizer to trim the casted bullets? Where did you get that tank? Can I use a paintball tank with the extreme valve? I own 88cu tanks that fill to 3000-5000psi. How many shots do you get before a refill? Lots of fun questions. I still have the urge to get the texan but if I can mod my condor then it’s possible to even shoot 9mm bullets long distances too. My email is joeeigo@gmail.com
